How does ShopPaddy work?
It’s simple:
- Sellers post listings for items or services they want to offer.
- Buyers browse listings, contact sellers directly, and negotiate deals.
- Once both agree, they meet safely to complete the transaction.
ShopPaddy provides the platform but the deal happens between buyer and seller.
Account & Registration
Do I need an account to use ShopPaddy?
You can browse freely without an account.
However, to post listings, save favorites, or contact sellers, you’ll need to register for a free account.
How do I create an account?
- Click “Register” on the top menu.
- Fill in your details (name, email, phone number, and password).
- Confirm your email or phone number.
You’re ready to start buying and selling!
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Click “Forgot Password” on the login page. Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Listing an Item
How do I post a listing?
- Log in to your account.
- Click “Sell Now.”
- Choose a category (e.g., Electronics, Fashion, Vehicles).
- Fill in the details: title, description, price, and images.
- Click “Submit.”
Your listing will go live immediately after approval.
Is it free to post listings on ShopPaddy?
Yes — basic listings are completely free.
You can post as many as you like within our fair-use guidelines.
Can I promote my listing?
Yes! You can make your ad more visible with our paid features:
- Boost Listing: Push your ad to the top of search results.
- Featured Listing: Highlight your post with a badge.
- Membership Packages: Unlock more listings and promotional benefits.

How long do listings stay active?
Free listings remain active for 30 days. After that, you can easily renew or boost them for continued visibility.
Buying on ShopPaddy
How do I buy something on ShopPaddy?
- Browse by category or use the search bar.
- Click on the item you’re interested in.
- Contact the seller directly via phone, chat, or email.
- Meet in a safe, public place to complete the deal.
Remember to tell the seller you found their product on ShopPaddy — you might just get a better deal!
Do I pay ShopPaddy for items I buy?
No. ShopPaddy does not handle payments. You deal directly with the seller.
How do I know if a seller is genuine?
Always review seller profiles, check ratings (if available), and follow our safety tips below before making any transaction.

For Buyers
- Meet sellers in public places (like malls or cafés).
- Inspect the item carefully before paying.
- Avoid sending money or making deposits before you see the item.
- Report suspicious listings immediately to contact@shoppaddy.com.
- Tell the seller you found them on ShopPaddy — it builds trust and helps us maintain transparency.
For Sellers
- Meet buyers during daylight hours and in safe locations.
- Never share sensitive personal details (like ID or bank information).
- If an offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
- Keep communication within the platform where possible.
Report scams or inappropriate behavior right away.
Managing Your Listings
Can I edit or delete my listing?
Yes. Log into your account, go to My Listings, and click Edit or Delete next to the listing you want to modify.
My listing was rejected. Why?
ShopPaddy reviews every post to ensure quality and safety.
Your listing may be rejected if it:
- Violates our posting rules (e.g., illegal or restricted items).
- Contains false information or unclear details.
- Has low-quality or misleading images.
You can always correct and re-submit your ad.
How do I renew my listing?
You’ll receive a reminder when your ad is about to expire.
Simply click “Renew” from your account dashboard.
